Today, I have a very important announcement to share.
ReviewsOnMyWebsite is now LocalImpact.
This change has been in the works for a while now, and it reflects how much our product and thinking have evolved since day 1.
Why the change?
Originally, the idea behind ReviewsOnMyWebsite was very simple: making it easy for local businesses to display customer reviews on their website.
But over time, it became clear that businesses didn’t just need a way to showcase reviews. They needed help with managing their reputation, understanding customer feedback, and building trust.
And we wanted to help. Over the years, our simple widget slowly evolved into a full-fledged online reputation management platform.
The name ReviewsOnMyWebsite no longer reflects the value we provide to our customers, or where we’re headed.
LocalImpact, on the other hand, does.
What LocalImpact stands for
Our new name reflects our focus on helping local businesses build trust, improve their online reputation, and make a stronger impact in their local market.
At the same time, our core principles remain unchanged. We’ll still:
- Keep things simple and intuitive
- Stay accessible and affordable
- Always put local businesses first
What’s changing (and what’s not)
If you’re an existing customer, here’s what you need to know:
Nothing will break, disappear, or get more complicated. It’s still:
- The same product
- The same team
- The same mission
And you can still talk to a real human when you need help. We’re still the same small, personal, and hands-on team, on purpose.
What’s coming next
This year, we’ll be working hard on building features that will help you streamline your reputation management and act on customer feedback. Here’s a preview:
- Smarter automations: Soon, you’ll be able to set up automatic review replies in LocalImpact, allowing you to stay responsive without adding more work to your day.
- Deeper insights: We’re also working on AI-powered insights that will help you understand what customers are saying about you over time, sentiment trends, and how your reputation compares to the competition.
- More integrations: We already integrate with quite a few tools via Zapier, but we’ll be adding more direct integrations with third-party platforms to help fit LocalImpact into your existing workflow more effortlessly.
